Each Hand-Carved lighter begins as a solid brass body, individually hand-engraved using traditional metal engraving techniques rather than automated or laser processes.
Surface patterns are carved line by line with hand engraving gravers, with each piece requiring at least two hours of focused manual engraving.
Created exclusively within the THORENS workshop, the Hand-Carved Series reflects a Swiss-designed approach to craftsmanship where individual variation is intentionally preserved.

• Palivo: Petrolej (benzín do zapalovačů)
• Zapalovač má starožitný bronzový povrch s patinou oxidace, která odhaluje bohaté, nerovnoměrné kovové tóny – plné vintage průmyslového charakteru.
• Tělo je vytesáno do podoby hlavy psa s povislýma ušima a klidným, mírným výrazem. Každý chlup je vyřezán s plynulou precizností, což dává dílu živost a výraznost.

Following engraving, each lighter is hand-finished through manual sanding, polishing, and a controlled vintage aging process to enhance depth, contrast, and tactile character.
