🇨🇵 Exellent briquet bien fini et qui est très vraiment beau. Mécanisme d'allumage somptueux ,je l'ai pris avec son étui cuir vert. Une vrai merveille et il c'est déjà fait remarquer.

操作感はなかなか良い感じです。購入後、永く使いたいので、片爪のフリントローラーも購入しました。同梱されていた赤い芯と交換したらさらに良い感じです。質感も重さも良い感じです。持つ喜び、操作感最高ですね。燃料はカイロ用ベンジン、ホワイトガソリンも使え、着火も安定します。絶対お勧めのライターです。

Briquet, ou plutôt petite œuvre d'art, en tous points conforme avec les photos du site. Un bon poids en main, signe dans le cas présent d'une grande qualité. Matériaux noble, finitions extrêmes, utilisation sans le moindre souci ! Un réel très grand plaisir que de commencer cette collection de briquets Thorens ! En acheter un seul me paraît impossible tellement on est agréablement surpris par la qualité par rapport au prix !!! Hubert.

Beautiful lighter and the craftsmanship is outstanding. This makes such a nice edition to my evening pipe ritual. Just because it's manufactured in China doesn't mean it's not top quality. Note that this lighter takes about 20 plus openings to become consistent with lighting since the flint needs to grind down enough to conform to the grinding wheel.

Beautiful materials and design, but its hard to hold and doesn’t light every time, like 1 out of 3 time it creates a flame.

The ignition is impressively built and shows excellent craftsmanship. The attention to detail is outstanding, and the workmanship really shines. It pleasantly exceeded my expectations and was a very welcome surprise.

This lighter is very well made. I feel it should use a little more cotton on the inside but the quality is superb. Works very well with my pipes. Looking at making a later purchase.

It’s solid, reliable & most of all the design hasn’t changed from the original back in early 1900’s. Which is to me says that it’s good, otherwise it would have changed. It’s great for everyday use or putting into my collection.

Amazing quality

I can’t compare it to the 1920s version as I don’t have one of those in my collection yet, but I can say that this one is very high quality. The case is very solid, no flex or give anywhere. The telescoping feature is what drew me to it (I smoke a pipe) and that part works great.

Overall I’m pretty impressed. I didn’t know what to expect, but I took a chance because I love that someone has the knowledge and passion for taking on one of the petrol lighter legacies.

You can tell they actually care. They are not just making cheap knock offs, if that’s what you’re thinking.

Take a chance. I think you’ll be impressed, too.

I ordered on 6th july, the lighters arrived on 1st august. The quality is great, the videos on the website are accurate. I don‘t like the China-bashing, it is not made in Switzerland, so what? Chinese companies can also make great products. Thank you and greetings from Germany👍

I call this my indoor lighter. If there is any wind or even a slight breeze it goes out. However in your home or garage it is elegant and super cool

The Thorens website gives the impression that this is a product from Switzerland, but these are products from China that have copied the old lighters. The quality is decent, and it works as it should. However, I think the price is somewhat high considering it’s not authentic.

Heavy, good in hand. Ignite is strong, so I must throw new rocks after one week. Wick is not inside a wool to properly get wet an give off fumes, all becouse of that pulled out rod. After rearranging wick and add some wool, I refill it once a week with heavy using.

It took a little while to receive this lighter and after a little confusion about whether it was sent i was very pleased to receive it. The surprise was for the long delay there was a 2nd lighter as a free present. Thank you so much

I fill the lighter with fluid and it probably stays in it for an hour, and then it won’t light until I refill it

Just received the lighter and I must say it’s an exquisite recreation of the original Thorens. Shipping was a bit difficult to track but once it got here I’ve been very pleased.
