Founded in Switzerland in 1883, THORENS has long been a symbol of Swiss precision craftsmanship, seamlessly blending mechanical aesthetics with collectible artistry. The lighter division was pioneered by Hermann Thorens himself, and later carried forward by his son, Albert Thorens, together with a team of distinguished artists and inventors at Hermann Thorens SA in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland.
In 2024, the lighter division of Hermann Thorens SA (Switzerland) was officially revived. To ensure both manufacturing excellence and global accessibility, we partnered with a Chinese factory with over 30 years of premium lighter production experience and established Hubei Thorens Metal Co., Ltd. — our exclusive production arm.
