I’m not a smoker, but I was looking for a vintage Thorens lighter, when I found they are still manufactured today. I love this lighter for what it is: a classic bit of engineering with a clever lighting mechanism which flips open the lid and instantly lights the wick. It has a wonderful weight and feel to it and fits beautifully in the palm of the hand. Be prepared for a long wait for it to arrive (I believe it comes directly from China), but I don't regret the wait and they replied attentively to emails.
