THORENS Flat Top CNC – Constantine Raven & Reaper is a master-crafted, refillable solid brass soft flame lighter. Both the outer shell and insert are precision CNC-machined from separate solid brass billets rather than cast. The lighter features five-sided precision laser relief engraving and multicolor hand-applied detailing. Its intricate artwork combines ravens, a full moon, the Grim Reaper, skulls, spiderwebs, crosses, shields, a battle axe, and antique-inspired ornamental motifs. The top features the CONSTANTINE inscription framed by ornate gold scrollwork, while the bottom carries THORENS branding and specification markings. Contrasting gold, red, purple, black, and aged silver tones create a distinctive gothic aesthetic with rich visual depth. Designed for collectors who appreciate intricate relief craftsmanship, hand-finished color details, and maintainable mechanical construction, it combines traditional lighter functionality with a striking collectible design.

To ignite, open the lid and rotate the flint wheel. Copper plates positioned on both sides of the wheel assist in spark generation, igniting the traditional wick-based soft flame. The wind-resistant ignition structure helps improve ignition stability in light outdoor wind, making the lighter suitable for everyday carry and outdoor use. The removable flint wheel also makes routine cleaning, inspection, and maintenance more convenient. Unlike THORENS Crisp Sound models, this lighter does not produce a pronounced opening sound; however, closing the lid produces a clear mechanical closing sound.

The outer shell is CNC-machined from a solid brass billet, with precision laser relief engraving enhanced by multicolor hand-applied detailing and an aged finish. The front features a raven, a full moon, spiderwebs, an ornate shield with a cross, and a circular medallion. The reverse depicts the hooded Grim Reaper, including its skull face and skeletal hands, surrounded by spiderwebs and a battle axe. Both side panels feature additional crosses, skulls, candles, flames, and ornate gold scrollwork. The top is individually decorated with the CONSTANTINE inscription and an elaborate gold scrollwork frame, completing the five-sided decorative design. Contrasting gold, red, purple, black, and aged silver tones accentuate the depth and detail of the raised artwork. The machined insert is precision CNC-machined from solid brass and can be removed and replaced. It can also be operated independently outside the outer case, providing convenient access for refueling, inspection, and maintenance. The traditional wick-based soft flame system supports standard lighter fluid, flint replacement, and wick maintenance. The modular bottom refueling structure incorporates a fuel-sealing cotton pad for the bottom access system. By removing the two bottom screws, the lower module can be detached to provide access to the internal cotton and wick for inspection, maintenance, or replacement. A side-mounted securing structure helps keep the machined insert firmly positioned inside the outer shell. The flat-top and flat-bottom design provides a stable base and a substantial hand feel, making the lighter suitable for everyday use, desktop display, or a mechanical lighter collection.
