Product Descriptions
This round pocket watch lighter is a refillable fluid lighter featuring a solid brass body, classic flint-wheel ignition, and a transparent fuel chamber, designed for users who appreciate mechanical texture, visual fuel monitoring, and a distinctive steampunk-inspired form.
Drawing inspiration from traditional pocket watch proportions and industrial-era mechanical aesthetics, this lighter combines ornamental design with practical daily function. The round brass housing, exposed screws, and visible fuel chamber emphasize material honesty and mechanical presence, offering a tactile alternative to disposable or minimal modern lighters.
Key construction details:
– Refillable fluid lighter system using standard lighter fluid (kerosene-based)
– Solid brass construction with a matte gold finish and vintage metal texture
– Round pocket-watch-inspired body with transparent fuel chamber for level visibility
– Evenly spaced round-head screws reinforcing the industrial design language
– Wind-resistant vented top for reliable ignition in light outdoor conditions
This lighter is ideal for:
– Users drawn to steampunk or industrial mechanical design
– Everyday carry users who prefer refillable, long-term-use fluid lighters
– Collectors seeking visually distinctive brass lighters with functional transparency
It may not be ideal if:
– You prefer butane or jet-flame torch lighters
– You want a maintenance-free, disposable lighter solution
Proper care helps maintain consistent ignition and preserves the brass surface over time.

Arrived in good time. Well packaged and protected
The presentation box is a nice addition with a pull out draw with the lighter in a cloth branded pull string bag . The lighter is nice and heavy , a well made solid lighter which lights first time and doesn't feel flimsy and light unlike another well known petrol lighter. Will definitely be building a collection.

Wonderful lighter that sparks every time you flip open the top camp. Plus the flint wheele you always have plenty of spare flints on hand. I also carry a fluid canister on my keychain so I always have all the essentials with me. Overall the Asprey is a work of art and a functional unit at the same time.

The Mini Cube Golden Mesh is an extremely well made lighter! The size of the lighter is fantastic, and it has a little heft for its size… The sounds this lighter makes when opening and closing it, lighting it, etc… you can hear the quality! Thank you Thorens for a great product and experience!

The lighter is of good quality. And reminds me of the one I had 50 years ago!!! Which I paid eight or nine dollar for back then.

Perfect fire-starting tool to have on board a boat...e-torches work okay, but first sign of moisture and you've got a paper weight. If you're taking the boys out for a day of fishing, foul Wx or not, and cigars are abound, the Torch Stick is what you wish you had.
Highly recommended...

I was really moved by how kindly and proactively they handled my inquiries. The product itself is sturdy and well-made as well. I'm definitely planning to collect more Thorens products in the future.

There are lighters and then there are lighters. This is the later. Unconventional look. Performers really well for a pipe. Somewhat different to get use to it but flame will come out upward but as soon as you draw on your pipe...flame reverses and you get a very nice top of pipe burn.
