Product Descriptions
This trench-style submarine lighter is a refillable fluid lighter crafted from solid brass, featuring a smooth, streamlined submarine-inspired form and a creative yet functional mechanical design intended for everyday use and collection.
Inspired by early trench lighters and naval-era industrial aesthetics, this submarine lighter emphasizes form reduced to function. Its elongated, smooth silhouette echoes classic submarine profiles, prioritizing balance, hand feel, and visual continuity. Rather than decorative excess, the design focuses on practicality and material presence, reflecting the restrained character often associated with vintage and old-style lighters.
Key construction details:
– Refillable fluid lighter system
– Solid brass construction for durability and weight
– Smooth, streamlined submarine-inspired body shape
– Creative mechanical design balancing form and function
This lighter is ideal for:
– Users searching for a submarine lighter with a distinctive silhouette
– Collectors of trench lighters and vintage-style mechanical lighters
– Those who appreciate solid brass, refillable fluid lighters with practical design
It may not be ideal if:
– You prefer modern jet-flame or butane torch lighters
– You are looking for a disposable or maintenance-free lighter
Proper care helps maintain reliable ignition and preserve the brass surface over time.

Too late, but good

Arrived in good time. Well packaged and protected
The presentation box is a nice addition with a pull out draw with the lighter in a cloth branded pull string bag . The lighter is nice and heavy , a well made solid lighter which lights first time and doesn't feel flimsy and light unlike another well known petrol lighter. Will definitely be building a collection.

Wonderful lighter that sparks every time you flip open the top camp. Plus the flint wheele you always have plenty of spare flints on hand. I also carry a fluid canister on my keychain so I always have all the essentials with me. Overall the Asprey is a work of art and a functional unit at the same time.

The Mini Cube Golden Mesh is an extremely well made lighter! The size of the lighter is fantastic, and it has a little heft for its size… The sounds this lighter makes when opening and closing it, lighting it, etc… you can hear the quality! Thank you Thorens for a great product and experience!

The lighter is of good quality. And reminds me of the one I had 50 years ago!!! Which I paid eight or nine dollar for back then.

Trovo questo accendino stupendo e realizzato in maniera impeccabile. Pratico in mano e impossibile non notarlo. Molto particolare. Sono molto contento.

Perfect fire-starting tool to have on board a boat...e-torches work okay, but first sign of moisture and you've got a paper weight. If you're taking the boys out for a day of fishing, foul Wx or not, and cigars are abound, the Torch Stick is what you wish you had.
Highly recommended...

I was really moved by how kindly and proactively they handled my inquiries. The product itself is sturdy and well-made as well. I'm definitely planning to collect more Thorens products in the future.

There are lighters and then there are lighters. This is the later. Unconventional look. Performers really well for a pipe. Somewhat different to get use to it but flame will come out upward but as soon as you draw on your pipe...flame reverses and you get a very nice top of pipe burn.
