Product Descriptions
This Nunchaku lighter is a refillable fluid lighter featuring a dual-cylinder, nunchaku-inspired form with a silver-toned metal finish, a flexible hinged structure, and engraved THORENS branding, designed for users who value mechanical presence, industrial aesthetics, and practical everyday function.
Inspired by the visual language of the nunchaku form, this lighter adopts a segmented cylindrical structure connected by a flexible hinge, creating a distinctive mechanical silhouette. The silver exterior emphasizes clean geometry and material clarity, while the articulated design introduces controlled movement and tactile feedback. Rather than disposable convenience, the focus remains on structure, weight, and hands-on mechanical interaction.
Key construction details:
– Refillable fluid system using standard lighter fluid
– Dual-cylinder body inspired by classic nunchaku proportions
– Flexible hinged connection enabling smooth, controlled opening motion
– Silver-toned metal exterior highlighting industrial form
– Engraved THORENS logo integrated into the hinge component
This lighter is ideal for:
– Users looking for a refillable, long-lasting fluid lighter
– Those drawn to nunchaku-inspired or articulated cylindrical designs
– Everyday carry users who appreciate mechanical and industrial styling
It may not be ideal if:
– You prefer jet-flame or butane torch lighters
– You want a completely maintenance-free lighter
Proper care and appropriate fuel use help maintain ignition consistency and preserve the lighter’s mechanical movement over time.

Arrived in good time. Well packaged and protected
The presentation box is a nice addition with a pull out draw with the lighter in a cloth branded pull string bag . The lighter is nice and heavy , a well made solid lighter which lights first time and doesn't feel flimsy and light unlike another well known petrol lighter. Will definitely be building a collection.

Wonderful lighter that sparks every time you flip open the top camp. Plus the flint wheele you always have plenty of spare flints on hand. I also carry a fluid canister on my keychain so I always have all the essentials with me. Overall the Asprey is a work of art and a functional unit at the same time.

The Mini Cube Golden Mesh is an extremely well made lighter! The size of the lighter is fantastic, and it has a little heft for its size… The sounds this lighter makes when opening and closing it, lighting it, etc… you can hear the quality! Thank you Thorens for a great product and experience!

The lighter is of good quality. And reminds me of the one I had 50 years ago!!! Which I paid eight or nine dollar for back then.

Perfect fire-starting tool to have on board a boat...e-torches work okay, but first sign of moisture and you've got a paper weight. If you're taking the boys out for a day of fishing, foul Wx or not, and cigars are abound, the Torch Stick is what you wish you had.
Highly recommended...

I was really moved by how kindly and proactively they handled my inquiries. The product itself is sturdy and well-made as well. I'm definitely planning to collect more Thorens products in the future.

There are lighters and then there are lighters. This is the later. Unconventional look. Performers really well for a pipe. Somewhat different to get use to it but flame will come out upward but as soon as you draw on your pipe...flame reverses and you get a very nice top of pipe burn.
