I have collected and used thousands of lighters over the last 50+ years. Thorens has been a large part way back to wick and tender days. This is my first modern Thorens. It's perfect. Lights every time... at least so far. You cannot go wrong with this lighter.

Sehr schönes, sauber verarbeitetes Feuerzeug! Funktion sehr präzise und funktionell!
Leider ist die seitliche Oberfläche schon mit leichten Kratzern angekommen, was mich, als reinen Sammler, sehr stört!!! Dies ist übrigens auch bei dem Steampunk-Feuerzeug der Fall, bei dem das Zahnrad etwas hakt…
Ich würde mir wünschen, dass bei der Endkontrolle ein besonderes Augenmerk darauf gerichtet ist, dass keinerlei Kratzer das Bild, der ansonsten sehr schönen Feuerzeuge, trübt

It’s a bit smaller than a zippo with regards to overall height but width is similar, little heavier and way better built. The fitment of all the moving parts are definitely Swiss made. If I lose it I will for sure need to get another. I just love it. Everyone who sees it wants one. I want to collect them all now. Good job!

aq zippo in my pocket is dry by day two and this is already at day 4 in my pocket and I have lit it way more as it is so cool it is kind of like a fidget toy LOL

It is much more solidly built that I expected and every aspect of the lighter is extremely high quality and they are nice enough to add Extra flint and wick material so awesome. I look forward to carrying it for years to come!

Not very happy when I received this item it appears to have been subjected to some form of damp as it was covered in green blotchs being brass
Spent a good hour and half polishing it but the finish was pitted
Gave it to charity shop in the end

Awesome lighter

I love this lighter, gloriously weighty, sturdy, lots of moving parts. It's a fidget toy that makes fire! The feel and the olfactory trigger takes me back to my grandfather, kerosene zippo and pipe smoke. I don't even smoke, it's just fun to have on my person to bring out when I'm idle. Definite must have!
